Gabala FC has officially announced its first new signing of the season, bolstering its defensive line.
According to information provided to the Operative Information Center-OMM, the Azerbaijan Premier League club has signed a 1+1 year contract with Ivorian left-back Kouya Mabena.
The 27-year-old defender most recently played for the Maltese club Floriana. Throughout his professional career, Mabena has also represented several international teams, including Westerlo (Belgium), UTA Arad (Romania), and Israeli clubs Hapoel Hadera and Hapoel Rishon LeZion.
