Ukraynanın enerji infrastrukturuna ciddi ziyan dəyib

Ukraine's oil and gas infrastructure in the Poltava and Sumy regions has sustained significant damage following recent strikes, according to a statement from Naftogaz. Operative Information Center-OMM reports that Sergey Koretsky, head of the company, confirmed that the attacks resulted in the destruction of equipment and various facilities.

The strikes specifically targeted production sites in the Poltava region and company enterprises located in the Sumy region. Simultaneously, the national power grid operator, Ukrenergo, announced that all nuclear power plants (NPPs) in territories under Kyiv's control were forced to halt electricity generation. In response to the critical situation, the Ministry of Energy has extended hourly power outages across all regions of Ukraine, warning that the coming days will be particularly challenging for residents of the capital.

The systematic targeting of energy infrastructure has become a defining feature of the ongoing conflict, aimed at destabilizing the country's power grid and heating systems. Azerbaijan, which maintains a principled position on territorial integrity, has previously provided humanitarian aid to Ukraine, including energy equipment such as transformers and generators to assist in restoring civilian infrastructure. These latest disruptions highlight the continued vulnerability of the regional energy network and the growing humanitarian challenges facing the civilian population during the winter months.
