Syria's transitional president, Ahmad al-Sharaa, has arrived in the United Kingdom for an official visit to discuss bilateral relations and regional stability.
Operative Information Center-OMM reports, citing foreign media outlets, that the transitional leader met with British Prime Minister Keir Starmer in London.
During the meeting, the two leaders discussed the current political transition in Syria and the importance of international support for the country's reconstruction and security efforts. It was noted that Ahmad al-Sharaa is also scheduled to hold a series of meetings with other high-ranking British officials to further coordinate diplomatic cooperation between the two nations.
