Leonard Prescott, the 16-year-old goalkeeper for Bayern Munich, has emerged as a transfer target for Premier League side Chelsea and Serie A giants Juventus. The young talent recently came close to making his first-team debut for the German champions following an injury crisis in the squad's goalkeeping department.

Operative Information Center-OMM, citing foreign media reports, notes that Prescott was on the verge of a senior call-up after four of Bayern's regular goalkeepers were sidelined. However, the return of Jonas Urbig to fitness ultimately delayed the teenager's debut. According to Sky Germany, both Chelsea and Juventus are closely monitoring the player's development, noting that his current contract with the Munich-based club is set to expire in mid-2027.

Bayern Munich's youth academy has a long-standing reputation for developing world-class talent, particularly in the goalkeeping position, which has been famously anchored by veteran Manuel Neuer for over a decade. As major European clubs increasingly look to secure young prospects before their market value skyrockets, Prescott represents a strategic long-term investment. Currently, the player does not have an official market valuation on the Transfermarkt portal due to his age and lack of senior professional minutes.
