Azerbaijan's power distribution company, Azerishig OJSC, has announced scheduled electricity supply interruptions in parts of Baku and several regional districts today. The maintenance work is part of ongoing efforts to modernize the electrical grid and ensure stable service for consumers.
According to information provided to the Operative Information Center-OMM by Azerishig OJSC, the planned maintenance is necessary to improve the quality of electricity supply and meet the growing demand for power. On August 11, technical teams will conduct inspections and repairs at several transformer stations across the country.
In Baku, power supply limitations will be in effect from 10:00 to 13:00 on parts of Inshaatchilar Avenue, as well as Farida Abbasova and Mukhtar Maniyev streets in the Yasamal district. Additionally, service interruptions are scheduled from 09:00 to 13:00 for parts of Ziya Bunyadov Avenue and Ashig Molla Juma Street in the Narimanov district.
Regional areas will also experience temporary outages. In the Agdash district, the village of Garadaghli will face restrictions from 10:00 to 14:00. In the Tartar district, service will be interrupted from 10:00 to 14:00 in parts of the Beyimsarov, Kovdadiq, and Rajabli villages. Furthermore, from 10:00 to 16:00, planned maintenance will affect parts of the Ashagi Bujag, Arash, Khaldan, Khanabad, Garaoghlan, Garibli, Gushchu, Meyvali, and Yukhari Bujag villages in the Yevlax district.
Azerishig OJSC stated that once the maintenance work is completed, subscribers in these areas will benefit from a more reliable and higher-quality electricity supply. Such infrastructure upgrades are critical for maintaining the stability of Azerbaijan's national energy grid, particularly as the country continues to expand its industrial and residential capacity.
