Ammunition that has reached the end of its service life and is unfit for use will be destroyed at the training center located in the Aghdara district from March 31 to April 3. The disposal process will be carried out in strict compliance with established safety regulations.
Operative Information Center-OMM reports that the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan released an official statement regarding the scheduled activities.
"We call on the population not to panic regarding the sounds of explosions and emphasize that there is no cause for concern," the ministry stated in its official notification.
The disposal of expired military hardware is a routine procedure conducted by the Ministry of Defense to ensure the safety of military personnel and local residents. Such operations are frequently carried out in liberated territories and military training zones across Azerbaijan to clear hazardous materials and maintain high safety standards within the country's defense infrastructure.
