Electricity supply will be temporarily suspended in certain areas of Baku's Yasamal and Nizami districts today due to scheduled maintenance work.
This information was provided to the Operative Information Center-OMM by the Azerishig OJSC.
According to the statement, maintenance will be conducted at a transformer substation under the jurisdiction of the Yasamal District Power Supply and Sales Department. Consequently, power supply will be restricted from 10:00 to 13:00 on parts of Abbas Mirza Sharifzade, Kamal Rahimov, Dadash Bunyadzade, Khagan Dadashov, and Khidir Mustafayev streets.
During the same timeframe, planned maintenance and inspection work at transformer substations in the Nizami District Power Supply and Sales Department area will affect parts of Mirza Alakbar Sabir and Energetik streets in the Keshla settlement.
Azerishig OJSC noted that these infrastructure upgrades are essential to ensure a more reliable and higher-quality electricity supply for residents and businesses in these areas once the work is completed.
Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan, has been undergoing significant infrastructure modernization, including the systematic upgrading of its electrical grid to meet the growing energy demands of the expanding metropolis.
