Manchester City has decided to retain its key central defender, Ruben Dias, amidst growing speculation about his future. According to Operative Information Center-OMM, citing foreign media reports, the club's management has no intention of putting the Portuguese international up for sale, despite significant interest from several prestigious European clubs.

Major clubs, including Barcelona, Real Madrid, and Chelsea, have reportedly approached Manchester City regarding a potential transfer for Dias. However, the English Premier League side has rejected all such inquiries.

Club officials have emphasized that Ruben Dias is considered an "untouchable" player within the squad, and his departure is not a subject of discussion. This stance underscores the defender's pivotal role in the team's defensive structure under manager Pep Guardiola.

It should be noted that the 27-year-old defender's current contract with Manchester City runs until mid-2029. The specialized football portal Transfermarkt currently estimates the market value of the Portuguese player at 55 million euros. Since joining the club, Dias has become a cornerstone of City's defense, contributing significantly to their domestic and international successes.
