Continuing its preparations for the upcoming season, the Azerbaijani football club Araz-Nakhchivan has announced the signing of a new player to strengthen its squad.
The club informed the Operative Information Center-OMM that it has officially signed a one-year contract with Brazilian goalkeeper Artur Augusto Da Silva.
The 27-year-old goalkeeper brings international experience to the team, having previously played for Desportivo Brasil in his home country, as well as Portuguese clubs Oliveirense and Feirense. Most recently, Da Silva competed for the Indonesian side Semen Padang.
It should be noted that Araz-Nakhchivan has been actively restructuring its roster ahead of the new season. The club has already secured contracts with several other players, including Tarlan Ahmadli, Omar Buludov, Slavik Alxasov, Ibrahim Piriyev, Ulvi Isgandarov, Rashad Hasanov, Alberto Garcia Fernandes, Alejandro Herrera, Rovlan Muradov, Issuf Paro, Mustafa Ahmadzada, and Luka Dumancic.
Araz-Nakhchivan, representing the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, competes in the Azerbaijan Premier League and aims to improve its standing in the upcoming campaign through these strategic squad reinforcements.
