Power supply will be temporarily restricted today in parts of the Tartar, Agdash, Barda, and Goranboy regions, as well as in the Yasamal district of Baku.
The Operative Information Center-OMM reports that Azerishig OJSC has issued a statement regarding the scheduled interruptions. The utility provider noted that maintenance work is being carried out on electrical networks in both the capital and several regions to improve the quality of electricity supply and meet increasing load demands.
In the Tartar region, power supply will be limited from 10:00 to 14:00 in parts of the Iravanli and Bayandur villages due to tree pruning work near 10 kV power lines. In the Agdash region, maintenance on the 35 kV "Piraza" and 10 kV "Kukal" overhead lines will cause interruptions from 10:00 to 17:00 in the villages of Abad, Agzabir, Agjagovaq, Eymur, Arabshaki, Hushun, Khinakhli, Kotavan, Kukal, Garadeyin, Garaoghlan, and Piraza.
The Barda region will experience planned outages from 10:00 to 19:00 due to the installation of a new 16 mVA transformer at the 35/10 kV "Shirvanli" substation, affecting the villages of Boyuk Gajar, Daymadagildi, Huseynbayli, Khankhanimli, Katalparag, Gullar, Gurdlar, Piyadalar, Soganverdilar, Shahvalilar, Shirvanli, and Ugurbayli.
In Goranboy, tree pruning along 10 kV lines will result in power restrictions from 09:45 to 14:45 in Bashirli, Goynuyan, and Hazirahmadli, and from 10:00 to 15:00 in parts of Khinali and Garamusali villages.
In the capital, Baku, the Yasamal District Energy Supply and Sales Department will conduct maintenance at a transformer station. Consequently, power supply will be restricted from 10:00 to 13:00 on parts of Alasgar Alakbarov, Huseyn Javid, Eldar Agayev, Abbas Mirza Sharifzade, Mirali Seyidov, and Nazim Hikmat streets.
Azerishig OJSC stated that once the maintenance work is completed, subscribers in these areas will be provided with more reliable and higher-quality electricity services.
