Garabagh FK has released an official statement regarding the potential transfer of its forward Nariman Akhundzade to the United States Major League Soccer (MLS) side Columbus Crew.

"Negotiations between our club and the MLS (USA) representative Columbus Crew regarding our player Nariman Akhundzade have reached the final stage, and an agreement has been reached between the parties. Under the current agreement, the player has been granted permission to discuss personal contract terms with the opposing side. Further information regarding the next stages of the process will be officially presented to the public," the statement emphasized.
Nariman Akhundzade, a 21-year-old striker, has been playing for the Garabagh first team since 2022. He has also been a member of the Azerbaijan national team since 2023, establishing himself as one of the country's most promising young talents.
