Honored Art Worker and poet Chingiz Alioglu will be laid to rest at the Gurd Gapisi cemetery in Baku.
This information was confirmed to the Operative Information Center-OMM by the late poet's family.
According to the family, a farewell ceremony for Chingiz Alioglu will first be held at the Taza Pir Mosque. Following the ceremony, the funeral procession will proceed to the Gurd Gapisi cemetery, where he will be interred.
Chingiz Alioglu, a prominent figure in contemporary Azerbaijani literature, passed away yesterday morning. His contributions to the nation's cultural heritage, particularly through his lyrical poetry and translations, have left a significant mark on the literary landscape of Azerbaijan. The Gurd Gapisi cemetery, where he will be buried, is a historic site in the capital that serves as the final resting place for many distinguished public and cultural figures of the country.
