On June 9, the weather in Baku and the Absheron Peninsula is expected to be variably cloudy with occasional overcast conditions. While the weather will be predominantly dry, light rain is expected in some areas during the morning hours, according to the National Hydrometeorology Service.
Operative Information Center-OMM reports that there is a possibility of brief, localized intensification of precipitation accompanied by lightning in certain parts of the peninsula. Light fog is expected at night, with north-easterly winds shifting to south-easterly in the morning.
Temperatures in the capital and surrounding areas will range from 15-19°C at night to 23-28°C during the day. Atmospheric pressure is projected at 762 mm Hg, with relative humidity levels between 70-80% at night and 50-60% during the day.
Across the regions of Azerbaijan, intermittent precipitation is expected in various locations. Meteorologists warn of potential short-term intensification of rain, lightning, and hail, particularly in eastern districts where rainfall may become more pronounced. Fog is anticipated in some areas during the night and morning, accompanied by moderate easterly winds.
Temperatures in the regions are forecast to be 16-20°C at night and 28-33°C during the day. In mountainous areas, temperatures will range from 8-13°C at night to 15-20°C, and in some locations up to 23-28°C during the day.
