An Israeli military drone strike in the Gaza Strip has resulted in the death of a Palestinian civilian. According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, a tent housing displaced persons in the city of Deir al-Balah was targeted by an Israeli drone.

The strike resulted in the death of 27-year-old Mohammed Abdunnasir Abu Asad, while two others sustained injuries. Medical sources indicate that one of the wounded remains in critical condition.

Tensions also persist in the city of Khan Yunis, located in the southern part of the Gaza Strip. Reports suggest that the Israeli military utilized armored vehicles to fire upon tent camps sheltering displaced civilians, though no injuries were reported in that specific incident. Additionally, authorities confirmed that another Palestinian, who had been wounded in a previous airstrike in Khan Yunis, has succumbed to their injuries.

The Gaza Strip has been the site of intense conflict for several months, leading to a severe humanitarian crisis. International mediators, including the United States, have repeatedly called for a ceasefire and the protection of civilians in the region, yet military operations continue to impact densely populated areas where displaced families have sought refuge.
